Thank you again for your prayers and continued support for the Cleveland Lutheran High School Association. This ongoing community partnership between Lutheran East (L.E.), Lutheran West (L.W.), our Association congregations and the Christian Community continues to make a difference to those seeking a Christ-Centered education. Feel free to share these updates with your congregations through church bulletins, newsletters and voters’ meetings.

** At Lutheran West: Enrollment on the first day of classes totaled 502 students (the largest enrollment at West) —an increase of 35 from start of the 2018-2019 school year. This total includes 141 freshmen that reside in 12 different cities in the Cleveland metropolitan area. During the summer construction projects included renovations to the Lutheran West Library, Wittrock Gymnasium, Main Office, Student Services Office and new Admissions Office. The updates bring Lutheran West more in line with 20 century educational needs for our students. Finally, the faculty lounge was given a fresh look. New faculty and staff include: Ashley Barker and Philip Kosar are new teaching additions to the Science department. For more information visit our website at www.lutheranwest.com

**At East: We welcome Andrew Prusinski as the new Principal and Matt Luecke as the Assistant Principal. 340 students will walk the halls to start the 2019-2020 school year, with a freshman class of 107. Physical upgrades to the school include: window treatments to the classrooms and offices, four of the five remaining roofs have been sealed and the auditorium and faculty lounge was given a facelift.
